Hello, I am a native Serbian speaker and I've been a freelance translator for 19 years. I started translating as a student for my sister and her colleagues who were then students too. They studied medicine and I had to do a lot of research as I translated. I got used to accepting unknown fields and researching on the way. This does not affect the quality of my work. Since Serbian is not really in demand I had to expand my scope of services so now I can create time codes, translate subtitles with a variety of online or offline software, I can transcribe audio and video files and I can use different software to convert scanned files to editable text. Since one of your files is a scanned file and it needs converting and also editing since conversion always ends up having a lot of mistakes (I'd have to compare 600 pages of converted file to original text), this would also affect the price. The files you enclosed have about 1 000 pages together. Converting, editing and translation of this amout of text would be 10 500 €. It could be done in 3 to 4 months. If you should be interested in our future cooperation I would have one condition. I have already been left without payment before so if we were to continue I'd like to deliver translation after 100 pages and get paid after delivery of each segment (of 100 pages).
