Hello!
When I graduated from college with a degree in Music Composition and Theory, I did not expect my career to take a more literary turn, as I went on to (traditionally) publish two books, and launch a growing editing business. However, over the last fifteen years, I have composed several pieces of music, from symphonies to jazz ballads, mostly for my own private entertainment, as well as gifts for others. Last year, I decided to add freelance composing to my portfolio, and was contracted to write a four-track score to a video game. It ran at about eight minutes of music, and turned out quite well.
Obviously, I am rather new to this. As such, I am willing to charge you a small sum, rather than the average rate. I am also willing to work closely with you, getting as much feedback as you desire to give, and I do not expect to get paid until you are 100% satisfied.
With all of that being said, I do have a few questions. What style of music were you hoping to have? Are there any instruments in particular you feel are must-haves? What is the nature of your podcast, and the subject material you anticipate covering?
It would be very nice to discuss this with you further, and I do hope you will let me know if you have any questions at all. Thank you for reading this!
