Team Time Zone PRO is a Slack Web Application to help manage your remote team. So, let's have a look at the app. Now, I am visualizing my team organized by time zones. As you can see, we have a column for each time zone with all the team members that belong to it. On top of each time zone column, we can see its current time, area, and name of the time zone. On the top left corner, we can see the current time for my time zone. This time is also highlighted in its column. (Time slider) And we have a little arrow next to it, that if we click it, a time selector slider appears. We can use the slider to shift between different times and see how it reflects on the team. We can see when people may be sleeping and when they may be awake. Just click the now button to return to our current time. We actually can see the availability of the people looking at the dot next to each person. If it is green, he is available, if it is not, he is not. Just for convenience, people are sorted by availability. So we have the available people at the top of the column. (Search) We can also search for a particular individual here. (Filter dropdown) We can filter by channel, group, or user groups that are directly imported from Slack. For example, I am going to filter by the frontend channel. As you can see, we have the front end channel selected, and we can see the number of teammates that it has. We can look at our teammate's information like name, job title, or status. And we can contact them by email, phone, or direct slack message. Let's go ahead and filter by a usergroup. Let's filter by Rails Developers. Ok, so here we switched from the time zone view to the timeline view. Because we have fewer users in this visualization, the timeline view is better suited to see how working hours overlap between our different teammates. (View dropdown) This brings us to the next dropdown. The view dropdown. Here, we can easily switch from one view to another. Let's go back and remove that filter so that we can visualize the whole team again. Let's view the other visualization options that we have in the view dropdown, and select the grouped view. This helps us have a general overview and understand how our team is distributed across different time zones.
