Opportunity: Instaread is seeking an experienced Google Chrome Browser Extension developer to build a screen scraping extension which will collect information from a webpage or a web application, and interact with a backend service. An extension that will monitor the contents of the page ( Mainly Book title & Author name) and if matched interact with the backend to retrieve and present Key takeaways of the book overlaid onto their desktop target screen. Required Skills: Web Development experience Expert building Chrome Browser Extensions HTML, CSS, JavaScript Python, Ruby or PHP Desirable Additional Skills: MEAN full stack - MongoDb, Express, Angular, Node Experience working with AWS Deliverables required for this job: 1. Process: The initial work is focused on assisting us in finalising and deploying the MVP version of the application and as such, for the right candidate there is potential for the work to extend past the initial MVP as we develop additional features into later releases. For the short-listed candidates, we will discuss via Skype/Google the project and our requirements in further detail with the intention of providing sufficient information to estimate the time they will require to complete the tasks. We will require an estimate of time and hourly rate before we confirm the project with the successful candidate.
