Background: We hv took up plan with [login to view URL] ([login to view URL]) ask UVPS and added cPanel/WHM License As u can see this is a UVPS only provide operating system + cpanel and nothing else. We hv to made UVPS a ready hosting server. The domain [login to view URL] was use to register for the service (UVPS), as this is a bare. there is no NS the UVPS come with out a ns service, i hv used the registar DNS [login to view URL] [login to view URL] .com service and created the entry see screenshot [login to view URL] point to the ip of UVPS what I need: 1. using cpanel ( pre-insatll) _ CentOS6.6 • cPanel® & WHM 11 • CentOS 6 x86_64 • Apache 2.2 • MySQL 5.5 • PHP 5.4 • Perl 5.10 • Python 2.6 • Ruby 1.8 • Postfix 2.8 • YUM package management 2. set it up as a hosting server ( multiple site), ( all the standard feature of a hosting environment. 3. php using 5.4.41, will be able to customise php setting base on per domain ( some custom module need to be enable) Necessary server configuration: • apache 2 • php 5.4.41 • environment linux • Configuring a reverse proxy in apache CH1L1 PHP extensions: • ioncube (info here [login to view URL] ) • SOAP • DOM • simpleXML • HASH [login to view URL] DNS to update the registar for domain. www,[login to view URL] [login to view URL] u a revers proxy this is to be place in the [login to view URL] and any other module to made the reverse proxy work. <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost Servername [login to view URL] DocumentRoot /home/URL/public_html/ (this is the path where the host is install) <Directory /home/URL/public_html> (this is the path where the host is install) Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride All Order allow,deny allow from all </Directory> ProxyRequests Off <Proxy *> Order allow,deny Allow from all </Proxy> ProxyPass /CHILI/ [login to view URL] ProxyPassReverse /CHILI/ [login to view URL] ProxyPreserveHost On ProxyPassReverseCookieDomain [login to view URL] [login to view URL] ProxyTimeout 30 </VirtualHost> I will test the setup by installing a wordpress site. Hi, Thank you for posting your requirement. My name is Inderjeet and own a small 4 member IT services firm based at Chandigarh,India. We have been into IT since 1994 (desktop software), into Web-apps since 2001, Asterisk/Freepbx/freeswitch/fusionpbx/kamalio based voip solutions for about 3 years and Wowza/FMS based video streaming/VOD apps for about 5 years. We also maintain our clients' servers (mostly linux) on their behalf besides fiddling with our own Linux test bed VPS's and VMs. We have been working on CentOS since 2002 and play with other Linux OS's also for R&D and future purposes (firewalls, network sniffing, mobile development, ethical hacking etc). We're Currently exploring International clients through these portals for mutually beneficial and long lasting collaborations. you will need to create the child nameservers first with the registrar of the domain to use the ns1 and ns2. the domain should have been added afterwards in whm, hostname is not the domain name. We can do the needful but it takes 2 days for dns changes. Also I;m unsure why you need that reverse proxy for, Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
