This project will be to design the look and feel for a website targeting high school and college students.
Tasks include:
Create a logo for the company/website in the style of Web 2.0 companies. A set of possibilities should be submitted for review. Additional revisions of the preferred logo may be required. See the Web 2.0 examples in this link:

Create a banner that features the logo and website slogan that can be used on every page of the site.
Create a CSS style sheet that defines the look of the home page. This sheet will be used for all other pages. It should include fonts, sizes, colors, etc for all the objects on the page.
When provided with the contents of the home page, provide several options for layout.
When provided with the contents of the home page and the functionality of the site, make suggestions on how proposed layout will affect usability.
Design graphics for menu and boxes holding text which will appear on the home page.
Provide a complete mockup of how the home page will look which includes all the above elements.
Design goals are to be clean, rounded, bright, colorful, simple layout, 3D effects, used sparingly, soft, neutral background colours, strong colour, used sparingly, cute icons, used sparingly, plenty of whitespace, nice big text. These are common design elements from Web 2.0 companies. See the two links below. In addition, design elements from popular youth websites must be suggested in order to show proof of concept.

Answer any questions and provide any needed support regarding graphics and stylesheets to the development team for 10 days after the materials are turned over to the client.
Only bids with verifiable references and past work will be considered. Contact information for clients including email with their correct domain names are required.
Project bids with shorter time frames (3 weeks or less) will be weighted more heavily.
