Agoda is a hotel booking company. You can go to Agoda to see what they offer. I want to be an affiliate marketer using their platform to make money. It appears I might also need a website (?). Below is information on Agoda's Affiliate Program.

How do I sign up?

Simply go to the Agoda Affiliate Program Sign Up Page and complete the registration form. Please make sure you have read and accepted the Agoda Affiliate Agreement before submitting your registration. All applications are subject to a review process before access to the Affiliate Center is granted.

Does it cost anything to join the Agoda Affiliate Program?

There are absolute NO Costs involved for you as a partner. Being an Agoda affiliate only has upsides, in the form of the ability to earn commissions from selling our hotels through your website. All you have to do is send the customer to Agoda, using links, hotel power ads or our more advanced tools, and we take care of the complete booking and payment process.

Can I be an Agoda affiliate without a website?

You must have a website before you sign up as an Agoda Market Affiliate Partner. There are many FREE friendly sites out there that could help you build your websites in just a few minutes. Exceptions to this rule can be made in the case of travel agents, but additional documentation would be required. Redirecting a URL that has no website is strictly prohibited.

How can I integrate Agoda into my Website?

We offer a number of different tools for integration, ranging from the easily implemented to the more advanced. The quick implementation of links and hotel power ads can be accomplished in a manner of minutes and require no technical skills. More advanced options include customizable search boxes and multi-lingual data feeds.

Can I use Agoda travel content on my site?

Agoda provides affiliates with Hotel Power Ads, text links and other customized tools for use on the affiliate sites; This includes hotel data and details. however, the use of any other content or modifications thereof is only allowable under the express permission of Agoda. Please refer to the 'Agoda Affiliate Agreement' for further details.

How do I make money with the Agoda Affiliate Program?

As an Agoda affiliate, we pay you commission for completed hotel stays. The commission model is progressive and offers up to 60% commission on margin. This opens immense possibilities for you to generate revenues from your website through our program

How does the tracking system work?

We use a HTTP referrer to track your customers' bookings. Here's how it works:

Register your domain with us: e.g. [url removed, login to view]

We enter this domain into our database and activate it for tracking.

Any time we receive a link from any URL within that domain (http//[url removed, login to view]) which contains your tracking code or CID, it will be tracked under your account.

Every 24 hours we sync up our affiliate system with our booking engine, registering all bookings which have an affiliate ID. You may log in to the affiliate system at [url removed, login to view]

Our staff will delete duplicate, fake or test bookings. These won't appear in the affiliate center. If you want to make test bookings and have these tracked, you will need to make special arrangements.

All real bookings whether made with a credit card or not, will appear in the affiliate center within 24 hours.

The affiliate center will show the status of the bookings ("cancelled by customer", "fully booked", "confirmed", "departed") and whether a credit card number was received.

Once your domain is registered, you can place a link on your site to [url removed, login to view], click on that link and make a test booking. We can give you instructions for making a test booking so that the booking will not be identified, will be deleted, and also so that the it does not incur cancellation charges.

This means you can now place links, which should always contain your CID, from anywhere within your domain to anywhere within the Agoda domain and they will be correctly tracked.

Can I link to Agoda by opening a new window or a pop-up window?

While it is possible that referral information can be passed through a new window or a pop-up window, it is by no means guaranteed or reliable. It is likely to be browser and version dependent, and there are many other factors, such as Java Scripts on the page and the ways that windows can be implemented, which can end up losing the referrer information. This is why we don't recommend using pop-up windows.

If you can implement pop-up windows in such a way that the referrer information is carried forward, and you want to use this strategy, you will need to test this on various browser types and with different users. We cannot help you to do this. If the referrer is carried over, then it will be tracked by our system. But, again, it is not as reliable as using a link within the same browser and therefore we do not recommend it. Bookings may not be tracked if you decide to pursue this method.

How and when do I get paid?

The method of payment is by Direct Bank Transfer. You will be paid the month following the guest's departure from the hotel. For example, if a guest stays March 28-April 4, you would be paid in May. Commission payments are calculated on the first day of each month, with payments made by the 15th of the month with the minimum commission payment being US$200. If the amount of commission due is less than US$200 the balance will be carried forward until the minimum payout level is reached.

Does it matter what type of website I have and where it is based?

We work with a variety of sites, from small individual web pages to large commercial sites and there are no restrictions on where you are based. We welcome applicants from any country. If your site is travel-related and specifically targets hotels, then your chances of success are good. Be aware that applications may be rejected for various reasons, but your site will be definitely be rejected if it contains content that could be classified as defamatory, harassing, harmful, obscene, racially objectionable, or unlawful. Other terms and conditions are listed in the Agoda Affiliate Agreement.

Can I participate in the Agoda Rewards program?

Members of the Agoda Market Affiliate Program are not entitled to an Agoda Rewards membership account and its benefits.
