We have an IMMEDIATE requirement for a contract/freelance web backend developer with at least a year’s experience to work on the backend for a web app. We’re cool with remote-working arrangements since our entire team works remotely. You will be in charge of the backend development cycle. We are flexible when it comes to the choice of backend stack keeping in mind the backend stack enables the platform to process data swiftly on queries, display data with minimal lag time and scale the platform as we expand. During the interview, you will be required to state the stack you prefer to use and gives us a quick explanation for the choice of stack. Job Description: Design and build our platform using API’s Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Desired Skills and Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience building web applications. Worked on at least one web application which is live . A deep familiarity with up to date modern backend stack. Solid understanding of the full web development life cycle. Good understanding of web standards and modern client-side engineering. Strong intuitive sense for good user experience. Duration of project: Initially, a one-off project contract ranging between 2-4 months, with the possibility of further extension.
