I have a Wordpress site where I want to do something with an API. I have been able to retrieve the values from the API, but I need something that is a bit more complicated for me to do. Basically, in the API, there is a number value. I want to be able to know when this value changes. If the number value goes up or down, I want to add a green online image to the profile. So having it listen every 5 or 10 minutes for a change to determine if they are online. Other uses I want to do with the API: • Search/sort by specific values from API • When comparing values, I want the color green on values that are larger and red on numbers that are lower. I use the API to compare data from one person to another. I may need help implementing the API to my website since I do not think the way I did it is very efficient.
