-File appropriate documents in employee's OPF, EPF, and Medical Folders.
-Review SF-182 Training Request Forms for accuracy and process the information in the HR training database. The database is required by OPM to submit training data on a month to month basic.
- Solving payroll and financial problems, such as correct pay, within grade increase, leave, perform audits, garnishments, overpayment, QSI etc..
-Organize the monthly Health Outreach Program by coordinating w/nurse; forward e-mails to the agency to inform about outreaches that are coming to our agency.. Also, with the Outreach Program, I've organized exercise workgroups (Blood Pressure, Cardiac Risk, H1N1 Vaccine. Flu Shots, etc…)
-As the Lead Timekeeper/Administrator for the agency, I assist the timekeepers with establishing organizational codes and prepare individual accounts for new hires. I also organize and conduct meetings with the agency timekeepers to informant them of new procedures for the time and attendance program...Star Web. Secondly, as the lead timekeeper, I maintain ALL agency records of manually certified time sheets; as well as pay corrections.
-I've processed award actions in EPIC (NFC system).
-I've reviewed resumes of applicants for summer employment to make certain their basic qualifications are met with the qualification standards.
- Process award and promotion actions. I research the proper nature of action and authority codes by utilizing the 296 The Guide to Processing Personnel Actions.
-The HR Staff developed a mechanism called the "HRHLP" which stands for HR Help; this was developed for the use of employees who had questions concerning with-in grade increases, health insurance, promotions, etc. I was responsible for keeping a log and responding to all "HRHLP" inquiries.
-I interact and have established an outstanding working relationship with employees of the Office of Government Ethics, NFC, PBGC, OPM and other outside representatives.
-Prepare OPF and Medical folders to be sent to gaining agency
-Send request to agencies, NRC and etc to retrieves employee folders
-Administrator of the HSPD-12 System
-Conducting new hire orientation
-Conducts audit on files to ensure they are complete and properly documented
-Serves as the agency primary point of contact in obtaining and transmitting employee fingerprints and processing the HSPD-12 ID Cards(PIV).
- Serves as the primary contact of all aspects of personnel record keeping including but not limit, maintenance of Official Personnel Files (OPF), Administrative Files.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the Guide to Personnel Record Keeping.
-Distributes sensitive personnel documents to employees within 24 hours of receipt from the Human Resource Officer
