Getting data from these files and mapping with the SilicoCyte fields and Inserting in to the database. GUI is implemented with advance technology called AZAX. Various GUI Templates will be available for each type of entity. User can do CRUD operations on data. Programming languages: JavaScript,XML,XUL,HTML, and Ruby Rails Role: Developer Tool to find absolute location of genes in Human genome: Obtaining the gene symbols and the chromosome numbers by parsing a file, this program maps the locations of the intron-exon boundaries, various SNPs in the CDS of the gene in its Genbank file on to the FASTA file using BLAST and generates a Genbank file with the original ocations replaced by the absolute locations. The graphical display of the intron-exon boundaries of the gene is also generated. Role: Developed Perl modules for parsing files and finding gene location in chromosomes.
