Facile method for fabrication of buckled PDMS silver nanorod arrays as active 3D SERS cage for

Chemical communications, RSC
Our results demonstrate that it is possible, by means of generation of buckles on the silver nanorod (AgNR) array PDMS substrate, to enhance the Raman signal of P. aeruginosa bacteria due to the formation of high density ‘hot spots’ among the AgNR arrays which provides better entrapment and increases the net effective contact area of bacteria with the metal surface.

Metalloprotein based Scalable Field Effect Transistor with Enhanced Switching Behavior

Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Elsevier
Molecular devices based on organic and bio-molecules have been sought as an alternative to silicon-based devices to overcome their limitations for the development of biosensors and bioelectric devices. Metalloproteins are an integral part of several biochemical reactions and are shown to work as transistors and memory devices.

Azurin based Resistive Switching Flexible Device for Memory application

IEEE
Resistive switching memory comprises as a promising candidate for next generation data storage device. The employ of nontoxic and natural available biomaterials are prospective building block for environment friendly, biocompatible and biodegradable electronic devices.

S-Layer Protein for Resistive Switching and Flexible Nonvolatile Memory Device

ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces
In this work, a flexible resistive switching memory device consisting of S-layer protein (Slp) is demonstrated for the first time. This novel device (Al/Slp/indium tin oxide/polyethylene terephthalte) based on a simple and easy fabrication method is capable of bistable switching to low resistive state (LRS) and high resistive state (HRS).

Smartphone based dual mode in situ detection of viability of bacteria using Ag nanorods array

Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Elsevier
The in-situ and rapid detection of live and dead bacteria is essential for human and environmental care. It has become one of the biggest needs in the biological and medical sciences to prevent infectious diseases, which usually occur in hospitals and field clinics. In the current scenario, antibiotic resistance is one of the severe public health problems, which requires a quick and efficient solution.

Nano-realm for point-of-care (POC) bacterial diagnostics

Springer
The omnipresence of bacterial pathogens poses a grave danger for human survival on earth, the spectre justified in periodical WHO reports, where bacterial borne diseases maintain their share of infamy, claiming the leading cause of mortality around the globe.

Azurin-TiO2 hybrid nanostructure field effect transistor for efficient ultraviolet detection

Nanotechnology, IOP Publishing
We fabricated a backgated transistor based on 300 nm channel of the Azurin-TiO2 hybrid nanostructure, whose enhanced performance is attributed to the synergetic effect of the metal oxide and azurin. This study suggests the applicability of Azurin-TiO2 hybrid nanostructures with high performance for them biocompatible optoelectronic devices.
