I would like a logo for my new mining consulting company. The company name is Focal Mining Solutions and it will be a mining engineering consulting team providing professional services to open cut mines. I would like the company colours to be orange and charcoal or gunmetal grey. My preference for the orange is a darker or burnt orange colour. I'm not an expert on colour palettes, but my preference would be that the colours were close to those on the standard colour palette that comes in Microsoft Office. It is not critical that the logo incorporates some form of mining symbol, in fact I would probably have a preference for symbols to do with focal, focus, eyes.

Feedback - I do want some form of symbol as a logo of some sort, not just the name of the company. I think if the symbol is too close to an eye or similar then it will look like an optometrist rather mining company. Also the mining symbol of two picks in a cross or x shape is very old fashioned and not suited to a new mining consulting company.
