UPDATE: 1. Please note the colours suggested are for a accent colour only; the main body should be black (or white). 2. I specifically said NO to graphic elements relating to the words of the brand; they should relate to the activity of the business; and specifically NO arrows!

We’re looking for a logo for a new business called “UpCounter” that’s delivering an innovative solution for stores to better manage their queues of people. Our target market are small forward-thinking boutique stores, delis, food trucks, shoe shops - where big queues might form. For reference, think the artisan bakeries that have become popular. Think Fresh and Hipster.

The logo would need to work horizontal at the top of a website or app and we’d also need a treatment that would work as a square icon. One of these accent colours (#7A9E9E, #68B3C8, #7AC29A, #F3BB45, #EB5E28) used subtly within the logo, would be useful. We'd also be looking to use the logo monochrome and white out of a dark or photographic background.

We’d be open to treatments that feature a subtle graphic element that reflects our area of business (countertop, desk bell for example - you be creative) but nothing that plays on the words in the brand (such as an up arrow). Please nothing too delicate such the detail would be lost when used small.

See attached for some logos we think are OK, but we're looking for you to beat these - definately not just copy one! Thanks and Good Luck

Main colour should be black and one of the colours I proposed in the brief could be used for an accent colour to pick out a secondary element say - only use the accent colour if you think it adds something special
