I need a logo the reads Brief Writers. It needs to be a vector image that looks good in black and white and in color. Legal theme, as the company writes legal briefs. To appeal to attorneys, not laypersons. Not a requirement but an idea, B might look like it is a feather.

Ok, now that is super close. Please try these tweaks and we might be there...
1. Actually make the top of the W cut out of the feather, but in line with the feather's middle part
2. Give the W a little bit more tilt
3. That will make the top of the feather cover the top of the t, so cutout the feather so the t can still be seen
4. Straighten out the bottom of the quill
5. put the flourish closer to the quill tip and about twice as large as it is

Design 150 is pretty close. Can you make the cutout portion of the feather be the top, right of the W, and make the far bottom of the W be a quill tip? Flat design, not 3D on a wall.

I like the design that you used as the basis for #28 and a bunch of others. But note that the two words have (Brief and Writers) equal importance. This is why yours is not ranked 4 so far.
