I need a new name logo for an upcoming young performing artist (singer):
Trent Bell

The client brief: "Edgy/Misty/Cool/Punchy"

A suggestion could be:
- a font style that is slightly artistic/sketchy (eg Ed Sheeran)
- a font/style that is cursive/handwriting (eg Adam Lambert)

Overall has to be
- more unique/custom than just a set font
- very clear to read/understand
- youthful, strong, dynamic
- contemporary/cool/funky --- instantly appealing to Gen-Y but accessible to 30s/40s
to suit an upcoming pop artist (think Justin Bieber)

The name branding has to be interesting and standalone/iconic, perhaps with a bit of "art" about it?

Feel free to suggest your own ideas.

NOTE: The artist website will be developed in line with this font/logo style and will be a striking but clean theme, using a color palette of black/grey/white/orange. I would suggest we keep the logo monochrome (black) or 2 flat colors (black/grey or black/orange, if necessary).

UPDATED: Images included below as an idea of who you are designing for. Please try to keep the fonts masculine or neutral (cursive fonts can look soft/feminine and we are trying for striking/bold). Also, have included an initials graphic which we are quite happy with for certain branding, which you may choose to draw inspiration from.

DELIVERY OF LOGO:
If selected as winner of contest, logo will need to be provided as follows (standard formats for print and web):
- ai or eps (vector format that can be resized as needed without compromising the quality of the logo, with all lettering or parts separated so they can be recolored as required - prefer ai Illustrator file)
- jpg (please include a version on white background and one reversed on black background)
- png (transparent)
- if based on a font, please include this for consistency on website etc
