I am looking to create a website dedicated to gaming videos.

This contest is primarily about DESIGN, so the submission would preferably be in PSD format. (If you can write it up in HTML/CSS that will be a small bonus, however it is definitely NOT NECESSARY, and I care about the design much, much more than anything else.)

The site will functionally be quite similar to YouTube. (In essence, just an archive of gaming videos, with their own categories/tags, comment threads, likes/dislikes/ratings, etc)

Sites like YouTube and Twitch could serve as inspiration, however you are completely free to implement your own layout/design ideas as you see fit. No particular requirements for design or layout, just as long as it looks good!

Recommendations for entries:
- MUST BE AESTHETICALLY PLEASING! I like modern and sleek designs
- dark-themed designs may be more appropriate as this will be a gaming website (although if you can make a light-themed one work, go for it!)
- attention to detail is a must. Overall design can be more simplistic, but the look and feel must be very smooth and polished.
- should not have too much information on pages (be too cluttered) but should also not be too empty
- draw inspiration from sites such as YouTube, Twitch, etc. but I do not want the design to be too similar. I don't want a clone!

Requirements:
- landing page/home page (with a search bar and suggested videos / featured videos sections, and categories for different games)
- video page (the page on which the video is viewed. will have comments, ratings, suggested/related videos on the side)
- profile/settings page for users
- as for the specific elements on each page, go with what YouTube has.

Notes:
- don't have a name or logo yet. use "GameMontages" as the placeholder name for now. The final name will be a similar phrase to that. (2 words of similar length) - I may ask you to change the words.

QUICK SUMMARY:
I want a design for a gaming videos website. Must look good and have a modern + sleek design. No hard requirements, you have all the freedom you want to design the website. The most aesthetically pleasing design wins!

Working on an HTML/CSS/JS design right now. Will be animated and responsive to mobile. Just to clarify though - will this site be independent of for example youtube? So would a video on this site be an embedded video from youtube or should I design the video player myself? Thanks.

  The videos will be embedded videos from websites like YouTube, yes. In your design you can just put any gaming videos in there! Maybe focus on games like League of Legends, DotA, World of Warcraft, CS:GO, etc
