Older Update:
We are looking for a brandname which works in any kind of text, e.g. "Our innovative service XXX will help you to focus on your core business."
- Great if you consider Spanish, but please focus on English first. It really has to work in English for everyone (also non native speakers, so it shouldn't be too complicated) and then, as a plus it would be great if it worked also in Spanish or even German, but that's no essential requirement.
- We have received many suggestions using the word "LEGAL", but we won't be able to use brandnames that do not refer to FINANCE or TAX and HR as well or at least allow the interpretation that it refers NOT ONLY to LEGAL. This is probably the most difficult part ... which is why we need your creativity ;-)
- The brandname should also inspire to associate the service immediately with the fields of business / business administration (or not point to other industries). We substitute the supporting functions of a company so our clients can focus on their core business and not loose time with administration.

Initial contest:
We're a group of young lawyers and tax advisors. Our clients are small and medium sized companies from all over the world, doing business in Germany. We provide classical external LEGAL-, FINANCE/TAX- and HR-services since a couple of years. We are now offering a new service: We assume the function of previously internal LEGAL- and/or FINANCE- and/or HR-DEPARTMENTS. This service is mainly interesting for startups or German subsidiaries of international companies, which are permanently (or yet) too small, to assume those functions internally. So we are providing the department-function as an outsourced service. As a part of the service our clients do not only have access to their own CLO, CFO or CHRO (our own lawyers, tax-advisors or hr-specialists who assume this function). They also have access to a whole DEPARTMENT, where all the relevant work (e.g. accounting, contract-drafting, payroll-preparation or recruitment) gets done quickly by our own employees in a scalable manner and permanent availability. When we need specialists for complex matters we contract them externally, just as a legal department or an inhouse counsel would do. For big volumes of work we contract large scale providers or use legal tech systems, reducing the cost for our clients and controlling just the results (outsourcing). We also help our clients to contract and train their own staff in order to take care of certain tasks internally (insourcing) if this is the smartest solution in the long run. So the expression "SOURCING" is quite relevant for the whole service (but no need to use it in the brand name). Some of the advantages of the service are that our clients can focus on their core business having a very professional administration of their legal, finance and hr-issues at the same time. We usually have access to the systems of our clients, form part of their team and are also involved in their strategic planning. So we can assure compliance, control risks and help to identify and take advantage of opportunities according to the business goals from the first day. All of this is much cheaper as if the client would try to build up this infrastructure internally. They have access to methods, technologies and specialists at conditions that usually apply only to large departments of bigger companies.
We need a brandname for this service, so that clients understand we offer something new and innovative, not just classical legal or tax services.

    Update N° 5:
    We also think that we should not use the term “FINANCE” or “FIN” for the brand because this sounds to us like banking services or some kind of financial investment advice. Also, it pushes the importance of our legal and hr-services too much in the background.
    We would prefer it the brand gave an immediate idea of what our service is about, instead of using phantasy names. We are not selling a lifestyle product and our potential clients have very little time to read. So the brand shouldn’t leave open questions but be very clear instead.

    UPDATE N° 4:
    We apply those three sourcing strategies INDIVIDUALLY depending on the required quality, speed and cost of the service. The use of each strategy is completely flexible and can change over time. E.g. we may start doing something externally and later on it’s insourced to the clients company. The adequate sourcing and bringing it all together to a 360° control and compliance at a moderate cost is our core expertise.

    - Our services are available “24/365” (but please to not use this term in the brand) and scalable if the clients company grows or shrinks in size.
    The new brand will basically be used on our website as a headline and with a description like “Our innovative service XXX will help you to focus on your core business”. So we rather would not use the terms “innovation” or “service” as part of the brand, as we will use those terms in the texts of the site and our blog already.

    UPDATE N° 3:
    2. Some other tasks could be INSOURCED to our clients own employees, e.g. drafting simple contracts (LEGAL), do the accounting (FINANCE) and searching for new employees (HR). In this example we would just instruct the internal employees, control their work and report to the CEO, while we would assume of course the responsibility for all results.
    3. Finally, some other task can be outsourced to THIRD PARTIES, e.g. a complex law-suit could be outsourced to a highly specialized law-firm (LEGAL) or the paychecks for a high number of employees could be outsourced to a cheap large scale provider or even an internet-platform that provides such services. We just would take care of the sourcing / communication with the third party and corresponding quality control.

    UPDATE N° 2:
    - Our service requires a high level of trust and permanent communication with the CEO and / or shareholders of a company. Which means we are providing very individual high-end services, not an easy to switch commodity service. Relationships to our clients have been built up over years.
    - For the everyday workload inside of each department (not management) we apply our “sourcing strategy” (you could call it also “business process outsourcing”)
    1. We take care of some tasks by ourselves, e.g. we could negotiate complex contracts and set up the compliance management for our clients (LEGAL), do the year-end closing and taxes (FINANCE) and take care of the paychecks administration (HR). So those tasks would be OUTSOURCED to us and our employees.

    Dear all,

    - We provide our services geographically in Germany (or over the Internet) to companies from all over the world doing business in Germany. Our working languages are English, Spanish and German.
    - Our expertise is to take care of LEGAL, HR and FINANCE departments, like an internal CLO, CHRO or CFO and their corresponding employees would do.
    - The strategy for each department is designed by us and aligned with our clients business goals.
    - The everyday management of each department is also done by us, this can never be out- or insourced. Planning and managing is the core or our service.
