Hello to all..thanks for considering this project.

I need a logo / moniker for a new website that I am designing --it's a mentoring website with a focus on building skills youth need for employment. The site will have lots of automation and track progress and the intent is for the participants to engage with a character that represents the purpose/functionality of the system (i.e., ask jives, etc)

Mentor-In-Chief is a play from "Commander-in-Chief"...here's a link for the logos often associated with commander-in-chief: https://www.google.com/#q=commander+in+chief%2C+logo

The intention is to communicate that this automated system is responsible for the success of the participant. The system will monitor--academic/social/career development...provide guidance...encourage participants...

Optimal for the logo / moniker to be a character that is the "mentor-in-chief" that can be utilized in the system to provide direction and engage the participants.

The audience are youth generally from 5-22. Adults also use the system as mentors--but they in essence work for the mentor-in-chief--so the character should be attractive to both young and old audiences.

it is possible that the character could be represented slightly different for an 8 years old vs. a 30 year old. So, maybe you have the same "character" but as a youth, teenager, young adult and then mature professional.

Color schema--I think that blue / green seem to reflect the social nature of this effort but looking for some very creative thinking in this area.

so I'd like the designers to pick a phase (or age group) and design 5-8 different type of people/icons that the participants choose to be their guide. A few considerations--this is for male / female; icons don't have to exclusively be people, can be objects or symbols, there should be diversity within your 5-8 options for a phase--meaning that if I'm a participant--I should have a range of options to select from (we may decide later to allow the participants to design their own "avatar" for this guide piece but for now we want them to select from your portfolio. We will have multiple winners if we have really strong designs...or we may ask the winner in one category to do all the remaining designs--we'll see how this shakes out. Looking forward to this modified approach and how you reflect in your designs.

Hi everyone...in thinking about this more--I think people should have the opportunity to select the "type of representation" they want to represent their guide. I also think this would vary by age and what we call phase that I will list for your reference: 1-Scout (5-10); 2-Cadet (11-13), 3-Intern (14-18), 4-Apprentice (19-22), 5-Professional (23-30), 6-Executive (30+).
