Since there have been humans conflicts have either be prevented through formal or informal process (negotiations, mediation, compromise, treatises, etc.), and, when those have been ineffective and violent confrontations occurred, it ultimately ended with some accorded as a compromise between the parties or imposed by the victor in the violence. We are soliciting concepts for a Center that would include a negotiation center for major international conflict, regional wars, tribal disputes, climate change, human trafficking and matters of that magnitude of importance.
This center would have facilities for (1) complex negotiations, (2) a Museum of Peace Agreement that catalogs in one place how conflicts have been resolved since there has been recorded history, (3) an Institute for the Study of Peace and peace agreements, (4) a certification program for individuals to be mediators and peace advocates, (5) quarters for parties having their disputes address, (5) hotel for press and or accommodations.
We are looking for a world-class ironic concept. There are no preset limits but submitters should assume the facilities will not exceed $800,000,000 usd.
