A2billing is a open source billing software for Asterisk (open source VoIP soft switch).
Asterisk works as a background soft switch and does receive calls from user and forward it to the destination. And a2billing provides Administrator and customer to access that asterisk switch through website (Admin Panel & Customer Panel) and manage that asterisk switch.
1. From a2billing customer portal, a new user does registration.
2. Once he is registered, he can access user portal using his login credentials that usually mail to his email address.
3. From customer portal, he can top up his account either PayPal or credit card. For every successful top up, a history is created on asterisk switch, which can be viewed by a2billing.
4. Once he has enough balance on his account, he can call international using that asterisk switch, which is configured by administrator to receive and forward calls internationally.
5. Once a call is made, asterisk creates call history on its database, which can be accessed through a2billing.
Deliverable:
A custom website that will works exactly like a2billing customer portal ([login to view URL] User: 112233, Password: peter) , But User Interface would be different, like www.gtalkpinless.co.uk.
Functionality should be exactly as a2billing; just UI would be changed to custom.
The Core development of this project is done using php & smarty.
Only design part need to be done....... Please don't be confused........... It's a very simple work for experts........
