A Simple javascript animation involving objects and landscape

Requirement 1: Need to animate some objects on screen involving javascript. Graphics will be provided by me. The graphics shall be able to be uploaded onto the website and then animated by propagating or moving. All directions round the compass should be achievable with this, and even speed of motion can be adjusted.
The latest point reached becomes the new starting point from which to resume motion each time, for which direction and speed can be reset again.
Motion is manual, meaning it is driven by settings made by web audience. But at no point is its journey should the moving object reached an impasse and be unable to move further.
The graphics showing on screen should be as per the original dimensions when they were uploaded onto the screen by the web audience, and not modified.
