Attached is layout sketch of my application.
Application Flow:
1 - A splash form with background, logo and footer. During splash form, user authentication to be done (via my web site). If authenticated, load Activity 3. If not authenticated load Activity 2 for login with either form submission or with facebook.
2 - Authentication form with two option. Submit user's name and password (to be verified by my web site) or login with facebook option. With facebook, once facebook authentication done, user to be re-authenticated with my web site. Once fully authenticated Activity 3 to be displayed with a list of user's friends. The list will be provided from my website in JSON format.
3 - Friends list (will be provided from my website in JSON format. Once clicked a friend, A request to be made to my website with selected user_id to get the current position. Data will be provided from my web site in JSON format. (Friend Name, latitude, longitude, date)
4 - Friend's current position to be displayed in Google Map with a marker. When Marker is clicked the friend detail to be shown (as above). At top, a drop down list to select the 3 options. Default option is "Location".
5 - When user selects "Route" a request to be made to my web site to get route details. The data will be provided in JSON format (latitude, longitude and date). The route to be shown in line connecting the coordinates, ordered in date
6- When a user selects "Live", requests to be made to my web site, once in 30 seconds (with friend_id). My web site will provide new location and marker to be moved to the new location.
All requests to web site to be requested via AsyncTask/non blocking
The given layout is not fully restricted, may be changed/improved as advised by the developer.
All required data (from my web site) will be provided.
