[url removed, login to view] is a news aggregation website. The service is not yet published, so to try it, the username and password is "newsflow". I would need an experienced ajax and php developer to do the following changes to the existing code: 1. Develop and implement and algorithm for detecting "top news", i.e. news that have most importance and increase their Score value in the system. I would recommend the algorithm to be based on similarity of news headlines and summary fields of different sources. That is, if similar pieces of news come from two or more sources, then increase its Score. This is to be implemented with PHP. 2. Re-implement the tag system. The specs are included. The tag system is to be implemented using AJAX, so the tag selection by the user updates the view of the site without the need to reload the page. Notice the tight deadline.
