Contest Giveaway Tool

This project is to create and implement a database drive 'Contest Giveaway Tool' into the existing website ThisCity.com.

OVERVIEW

Users will come online to see what the contest is. There will be a countdown clock to show when the prize is being given away. The users must be online and logged in when the clock reaches zero in order to be eligible to win the prize. At the 'end time', a specific # of users will be selected at random as the winner(s). They will be directed to a page to provide their mailing address so that the prize can be sent to them. After they provide us their mailing information (which will be complied into an email and sent to us), they will be directed to a 'share page' that says what they won that they can share with their friends.

The 'Losers' will be directed to a page to tell them they did not win. If there is a consolation prize, they will be emailed their consolation prize.

DOCUMENTATION

I have prepared a scope document and screenshots to illustrate this project. Please keep in mind that the screenshots were just thrown together in paint. You must stick to the layout and text that I provided, but make sure it all comes out professional.

FINAL NOTE

I have a minimal budget for this project. The opportunity for you is to demonstrate your workmanship to be able to earn a higher rate on future projects. I will not be sending a deposit directly to you up front, however I will put the full funds into escrow and release milestone payments as I see the project is nearing completion.

Nothing bothers me more than

1. People who will say something is 'finished', but then I check it and within 10 seconds can tell that it is clearly not tested and working.

2. People who do not follow clear instructions, but instead choose to do things their own way without asking first.

3. People who do not maintain steady communication
