Computer Network - Cost and planning installation

This is a report style request for networking cost and installation. Scenario below: You have been given the task of planning and costing the installation of a computer network in one of the following situations: - (i) A small business (ii) A school/college computer laboratory Minimum size of network should be no less than 16 computers Your answer should include: - (i) Details of all components required and why they are necessary. Your answer should include, computer hardware, cabling, networking software and networking devices. You will need to specify all PCs in terms of their speed, Ram, Cache, HD size. Hubs and switches will need specified in terms of capacity, type and speed. (ii) Quantities and costs for all equipment and software (including PC's). (iii) A diagram of your network layout, illustrating the use of all components chosen. (iv) For your particular network scenario, describe the benefits that networking will bring over standalone computer systems. (v) Describe the role of any personnel that are required to maintain your network.
