A case study is supplied that is all about Workforce Planning at National Australia Bank. It is from Jones, Rod 2010 Managing Human Resource Systems 2nd Edition. Pearson Education: Australia ISBN: 9781442511828.

The details of the assignment instructions are as follows.

You are the Manager, Workforce Planning and Development, for the National Bank. Working as an individual, develop a Workforce Plan, based on case study 12.1 in the Jones text. This will cover a three (3) period. Assume the date is December 31 2009.

Phase One requires completion of Tables 2, 3 and 4 using the information and assumptions that are provided.

Phase Two requires addressing all of the elements and criteria of the course.

Refer to the attached Marking Form Guide for details of the criteria to be addressed.

You must show evidence of research using texts and journals. Use the Harvard system for referencing, and attach Bibliography or Reference List and any relevant Appendices.

Any tables, charts and figures must be labelled and referred to.

The case study and questions that need to be answered will be attached.
