Having run Army of Puppets ([url removed, login to view]) for the last few months, updating every week, the time has come to start seriously trying to bring more people through the doors.
I'm mainly looking for someone with internet savvy concerning the best ways to promote the site and optimize the existing code for search engines - especially in light of the large number of potential keywords. As I don't have much time to trawl the net for promising hub sites etc. to link with some help with that would be nice too. However, what I am really looking for is a helping hand to point me in the right direction, and someone who knows more than I do about the promotion options out there online.
Finally I need a few small housekeeping updates to the existing code on the site - a few minor tweaks and changes that should not take long, so long as you can work with the existing code. These are -
* Addition of my E-mail address to the footer at the bottom of the page.
* On the "Series" page some of the links to the first story in each series are currently displayed on a different line from the description text. These need to be moved up to come straight after the text without me having to delete any content from the site.
* After going into "Archive" for My Fictional Life the months in the drop down menu are currently listed in alphabetical rather than calander order, which is the order they should be in.
* There are numerous spelling mistakes left in the admin side of the site by the original creator that I would quite like fixed.
