• Read the first frame from a YUV video sequence

• Generate a prediction image using intra prediction by averaging four neighbouring pixels (or less if four is not possible)

o Use the pixel to the left and three pixels above

• Generate a prediction error image

• Calculate the MSE

• Add 127 to the prediction error image and store it
