I am seeking an internet and social media savvy Trending News Writer to cover ‘celebrity news’ 'trending stories around the internet' 'viral stories and news and ‘gossip stories’ for my site.
The ideal candidate, will be comfortable in a fast paced and ever changing habitat. Your job is to constantly keep up with the world news as it breaks, you must live and breathe all things trending, especially those that Gen-Y is most interested in.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Obsessively track social media trends across platforms.
Scour the deepest and weirdest corners of the internet to find stories that has potential go viral.
Write stories so they are targeted to a Gen-Y audience.
Come up with ideas for posts with effective headlines aimed at sharing.
Observe around the web what is trending.
Requirements:
You need first to submit a trending article for us to have a look in order hire you.
You agree that the content does not infringe or violate someone else’s rights or otherwise violates the law.
We own copyright of article once published on our site.
A great interest in celebrity news/gossip.
A strong understanding of world news, viral, and all trending issues.
Ability to write quickly and concisely under deadline pressure.
Ability to discover and identify big stories, alongside, the ability to find clever, funny,
and unique angles on them.
Ability to write both long, thought-provoking pieces and quicker riffs of the news
Ability to spot trends and generate ideas for larger projects. Fluency with images,
GIFs, video and other forms of multimedia.
A positive attitude and understanding of a start up environment.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
This is an ongoing job. You will be paid $2.5 us dollar per article.
