Greetings,

There is an opportunity to develop firmware for data acquisition on a TI's MSP430F5529 (Launchpad development board) micro controller. The characteristics of the system should be as follows:

PWM signal: A PWM signal will be used as a switch for an external circuit, I would need to be able to set a desired frequency as well as duty cycle.

ADC conversion: Conversion on demand from 2 different channels (rapidly one after the other) from the 12 bit internal adc and stored in 16 bit registers.

UART: the two values from the adc must be sent through the UART protocol. A data packet will be formed with the two values (probably separated by commas and ending with a semicolon, to discuss).

When turned on: The uc will receive (UART) these commands: a) START (starts conversion and transmission of digital data through UART) b) STOP (stop conversion), c) PWM_FREQ (set frequency of a PWM signal), d) PWM_DUTY (set duty cycle of the pwm signal), e) SAMPLE_FREQ (set sample frequency of arc conversion).
