About the company
An opportunity awaits for a Product Innovation Manager to join a growing gaming company. This is an Australian owned business and is at the forefront of gaming simulators and electronics. We have distributors located in United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Korea and more.
About the role
As the Product Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of development projects and sourcing new-on-trend products. Exporting experience and experience working within a factory will assist in ensuring the products meet timely deadlines.
The successful candidate may will be required to travel internationally and nationally, sourcing for new products and enabling the Company to be first to market with innovative products.
You will be required to work from our office in Xiamen, China and reporting directly to the company President in Australia. You will drive the successful completion of projects to achieve growth of the Organisation across the retail and wholesale markets within our growing customer base, both within the Australian and International market.
Duties
Provide expertise in the development of new products
Manage timely deliver and maintain high quality of goods
Technical support for cross functional departments including quality and marketing
Manage current raw material suppliers and identify new suppliers
Innovate with new packaging solutions
Skills & Experience
Previous factory experience managing quality, orders and assisting in exports
Previous product development project experience
Experience within manufacturing preferred
Knowledge of sourcing and negotiation.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills and a high level of problem solving
This position is a key part of the Senior Management Team and an attractive remuneration package is on offer for the suitable candidate.
