I have a Linux server with multiple websites on it. It is SSH enabled. Git installed.

I develop locally on a windows PC. Git installed.

I need to set up the linux server so each site I develop is version controlled using git. I also need to set up the windows PC to be able to clone what is on the linux server for each site and then develop locally and push changes back to the linux server.

I am looking for someone to document how to do this successfully for one site, then I can replicate for the others.

I know this doesn't sound like a lot but am looking for guidance on how to do this properly.
