Need specialized socks created.
The socks are brushed cotton, mylar coating, and brushed cotton. The mylar is sewn into the foot to ankle section of the sock.
The manufacturer has to purchase and have the capability to purchase the materials. Each pair of my medical product will come with 10 pairs of socks. So this will be a big ongoing project.
The bottom line cost for each pair of socks is $2.50 USD. My budget for design, equipment setup, and initial materials is $250 - $350 USD. Time line 6 - 8 weeks from grant to production.
