A proficient React Native developer to assist us in integrating HERE and TomTom navigation GPS maps into our rideshare application. This task involves replacing the current Mapbox maps for both rider and driver interfaces across Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration of HERE and TomTom Maps:
Seamlessly replace the existing Mapbox maps with HERE and TomTom navigation GPS maps for rider and driver interfaces.
Ensure all existing functionalities related to the map are maintained or improved.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation of Automatic Road Tolls and Toll Charges:
Develop a feature that automatically detects when a driver passes through a toll booth with a rider.
Accurately calculate and apply toll charges to the rider's fare.
Ensure transparency of toll charges for both the rider and the driver within the app.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure successful integration and functionality of all features.
Promptly address any bugs or issues that arise.
Documentation and Support:
Provide clear and extensive documentation of changes, including new code, APIs, or tools utilised.
Offer support during the transition phase to swiftly resolve potential issues.
Source Code Access:
The awarded bidder will receive the app’s source code to facilitate integration. You will implement the map and the file and provide the APK and test flight for testing, and if approved, you will convert them to add them to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
