A new set of photographic images for to match our new brand vision. Images should:
• Images should evoke a positive emotion
• Images should focus on one idea in which one visual is significant
• Images should stand out. They should support text, but not replace it
• Images should be high resolution – sharp, crisp and strong. For example, if it is an image of an eye you should see clarity and crispness in a way that inspires you
• Images should be meaningful and smart – for example, if we are talking about ‘new ideas’, we should not use a light bulb – this is what everyone else would do. Instead, use a child, or plant, or the sky…think about where those ideas come from, who has them and what inspires us to create them
• Preferred images are ones that are blurred in the background, or, preferably have a clean background with nothing to distract the eye
Here are a few categories for images that would be a good start for phase one:
