Media Database

Looking for a JAVA based application that will be used to catalog a large music collection. I am aware of various commercially available applications that do this type of thing, however I am not satisfied with any of the ones I've come across. Basically what I'm after is an application that will do the following in addition to LOOKING GREAT! (Most cheap commercial applications have a convoluted, unattractive interface.) 1. First an formost, an efficient and powerful database system is required. Obviously would want to be able to search by any field or combination of feilds. The inclusion of custom fields is a must! 2. Grab CD info from [url removed, login to view] or similar in an efficient matter - I have 3000+ cds and want cataloging to be quick and easy. Ideally, I would insert the disc into the computer, and the software would automatically search for info. If no info is available for a particular disc, I should be able to input this data manually. This is perhaps the most important feature for me. 3. The idea of having a JAVA based application is that I can run it on a server and access it from a wireless internet connection on a PocketPC when I'm shopping. This way I can see what I have in my collection when shopping to avoid buying duplicate copies. 4. Program should be able to generate reports and lists based on the collection, and should be able to export the database in other formats... ie. .txt or .html. There are all sorts of little features that would be nice to have and I can go into more detail with anyone interested in this project.
