Chat demo for Mac

I require a custom chat program to ideally run on a Mac across a LAN, although there may be other ways to do this, I'm open to hearing them. - I want to allow 2 people to chat over 2 computers. User A will encounter the computer (part of a demo) and invited to chat - User A sees a start screen, followed by a credit screen, followed by an info screen, followed by a Y/N question asking if they'd like to chat, followed by a spot to enter a screen name - If yes, they are taken into the chat program. - needs to have a "Quit" button that takes them back to the start screen - would be good if it is stand-alone and can blot out the file menu, i.e. so a user doesn't quit to the OS. - User B can just have a chat screen, as well as an indicator if someone has requested a chat - would be good if users can change colours of text - would be good to have a text/history buffer - I need a demo version quickly! - I'm an artist creating an installation of which this is a small component - Full credit given, plus opportunity for more work if this is successful - Did I leave anything out?

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
