Company Description –
Tuee is a new start-up in the Washington DC area solving an age old problem for restaurants and their customers: how do restaurants collect feedback from their customers and how do customers get a truly accurate rating of restaurants and dishes?
Tuee solves this problem by analyzing and aggregating every customer’s feedback. Collecting this information allows restaurants to analyze their own operational performance in the eyes of their customers and reach out to customers with a targeted approach. Customers earn Tuee points which can be redeemed for signature dishes at any Tuee restaurant.
At Tuee, we help both customers and restaurants harness the power of big data to make more informed decisions.
Project Description –
We are seeking highly motivated individuals interested in helping Tuee revolutionize the way customers and restaurants interact. We are seeking individuals who have a background in coding, website/program design, and social media development to help us develop a beta version of the Tuee platform. At the end of the project, full-time employment and an equity stake may be offered to stand-out individuals.
Programmer/Coder
We are looking for the following qualities in a Programmer/Coder:
Application development experience (including web-based and mobile applications)
A computer science background
An understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop a system which can be scaled to handle over 50,000 users
Ability to think critically about business applications of technology
Exceptional understanding of HTML5, C#, Model–View–Controller (MVC) 3/4, Java, and PHP
Understanding of existing social media and integration points (FB / Twitter)
Knowledge of database architecture and customized software solutions
Ability to develop a site that works across platforms - tablet (responsive design), phone, mobile, mac, and PC
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excels when working with others
User Interface Designer
We are looking for the following qualities in a User Interface designer:
Exceptional understanding of HTML5, Java, and PHP
Ability to convert preliminary mock-ups into functional websites
Application development experience (including web-based and mobile applications)
A computer science background
An understanding of the requirements necessary to develop a system which can be scaled to handle over 50,000 users
Ability to develop future website and functional requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excels when working with others
Ability to think about the big picture when developing an overall technological strategy
Page mockups, detailed functional requirements, and database fields / relationships have already been created.
Please note: It is not a requirement to have all of the aforementioned qualities. Most importantly, we are looking for highly motivated, highly talented individuals who are interested in helping develop a business from the ground-up.
