Will be taking a web site that displays individual pages for each item of a shopping cart and changing it to a database-based site. Right now the owner must create a new page by hand for each item he wishes to display on his site. Envision creating a MySQL database for the items (picture of item, price, description, title, weight) and then outputting the page via PHP. The selection of which item to view will be made from a drop down menu on one page (built via PHP from database), and once the item is selected from the menu, the new page will be displayed, showing the item (page created via PHP from database). Will also need to provide a page where client can add new items. Database will need to sort items by category. The site sells custom bank checks, and the offer picturees on their checks (cats, dogs, etc). They will also be adding new product lines (greeting cards, forms, etc). These all need to have their own category, so when the drop-down menu is created, only items from one category are displayed in the menu. Current page design will be provided for use to make the template from.
