Following are the main features that are required in our website
1. Website which will be like a portal having details of all the businesses and other important information.
2. The Site will have 9 sections:
a. Entertainment - Movies, Music etc
b. Classifieds section - where end user can post their own ads in relevant sections
c. Emergency Services - Hospitals, Doctors, Police etc
d. Lifestyle - Fashion, etc
e. Careers/Education - Schools, Colleges, Tutorial institutes etc.
f. Household Services - Cleaners, Security, Plumbers, Electricians etc
g. Professional Services - Lawyers, Architects, Software etc
h. Food/Lodging - Restaurants, Hotels etc
i. Travel -
and the content in all these sections can have different fields and each entry can also be categorized using multiple tags so that the relevant content can be searched easily.
3. The site will allow the users to register for an account to the website using facebook, linkedin, or site's own registration system. After logging into the account the users will be able to post the classified ads and update details of their business.
4. The front page of the site will show a prominent search button to allow the users to search for the business, it will also show different sections above so that the users can navigate to the sections and get the business listings and details easily. In addition between 3-4 sections of latest news and upcoming events will also be shown on the website.
5. Currently the integration of the payment gateway is out of scope and will be done in phase 2 of the project.
6. When the visitor searches for the business and want to contact them, this inquiry will be sent to the business and optionally the visitor via email and/or SMS message.
7. The site will also have section for About Us, Contact Us, Feedback form, blogs etc
