Create a Iphone mockup

Create a mockup application for IPhone

The program will be simular to the? Ebay iphone application.

A couple of buttons at the bottom. ?

A search box at the top.

A start page that displays some auctions

And some "dummy" forms.

The program will use 2 Webservice calls. (WSDL) Sample code exist.

The design? and functions is more important than how the code is looking.?

## Deliverables

This is a mockup. The look and feel is important.?

An old mockup exist. The sign in code exist. This code can be reused.? But there will be new UI.

This is a swedish application. But you do not need to know any swedish. :-)

All swedish word that you need to know will? be explained. When you must you can write the text in english. I can change this later.

Look at <[url removed, login to view]> to get the look and feel of the program. Colors and the logo.

There is also an webservice that will be used. Just two functions. GetCategories and GetSearchResultAdvanced or GetSearchResultAdvancedXml if you want to use soap. I will explain this more later in the text.

Forms:

Main from - Start form.

User form - No functions

Watch form - No functions

Advanced Search form - No function except shows categories

Buttons in the bottom of the screen:

Hem(Home) - Goes to Main form

Sök(Search) - Goes to Advanced Search form

Mitt Tradera(My Tradera) - Goes to User form if signed in.

Bevaka(Watch) - Goes to Watch form

Logga in(Sign in) - Goes to sign in page. If signed in this text should be sign out instead.

MAIN FORM

*A search box at the top. The textbox should have a yellow border/box to get the look and feel from [[url removed, login to view]][1]? search box.

*The Tradera logo.

*Two list. Just like the list in the ebay iphone applications Home form. The auctions of the first list can be fetched from [[url removed, login to view]][1]. It is called "Guldkorn - Auktioner utvalda av Tradera" Parse the HTML and look for the <div id="itemGoldNugget"> tag. The second list is a search list. It shows previous search text. If the user clicks it it will do the search again. You have the function in the ebay app as well, but they use one list. Both auctions and old search text in same list.? I want them in two.

ADVANCED SEARCH FORM

Make it like the ebay app aearch form. I can change the text to swedish later. But no function is needed yet. The same search box at the top as in main form. Mabey that can be docked so the app does not have to "rewrite" it if you goes from main form to seach form?!

But I want the application to be able to choose a category. Just like the ebay app. But one difference. You can choose "All" or choose a top category. If you choose a top category it shows the sub categories for that category. You can also choose "All" for sub categories as well. You can use the tradera API for this. The function is called GetCategories and returns a hierarchy of Category objects. I will write about the api later in this text. Fetch the categories the first time you start the app. But no advanced search function is needed yet. Just the design and the categories. But the search box at the top must work.

So if you want to choose a category you get a list like this

If you choose Top category 1 you get the children of that category.

USER FORM - Available if signed in.

No function or design is needed yet. Just the search box at the top. Also print the text that the old mockup shows when you sign in. It? looks for a tag? on a HTML page.? <div class="topheader">. It should be "Välkommen RonnyC77. Look at the old mockup and you will understand. Later you will see the auction the user has bid on + the users auctions.

WATCH FORM

No design or function yet. Just the top search box. Later you can see auctions that the user have choosen to watch.

SIGN IN FOR

I want it too look like the ebay app sign in. I like how it "grows" from the top and bottom and meets in the middle. But of cource with the Tradera loga. Not ebay loga. :-)

RESULT FORM

Make? it similar as the ebay result list. The search is made with a webservice call. The field that you need to use is called:

ThumbnailLink, ShortDescription, MaxBid, ShippingOptions, TimeLeft

In the API you can look at? the? field ´Thumbnail´? to see if the item as a thumnail picture. If not, show a default "no pic" picture.

You can fetch max 500 auctions from the API. If you want more you have to make a new API request. Do not load the compleate list at ones. Load as the user scrolls. I do not know the best function for this. Do what you can.

If you shift the phone to horizontal the view will be changed. Only the thubnails images will be shown. You can scroll horizontal. Use ImageLinks in the API instead of ThumbnailLink to show a bigger image. Under the image shown in the middle of the screen you can show the ShortDescription and MaxBid of that auction. If you scroll to another images the text will cange. If you click on an image the AUCTION/ITEM form will be shown.

AUCTION/ITEM FORM

Shows the data of a choosen item. Just show the thumbnail + a link to the ImageLinks(bigger image). The text for the link is "Se större bild"(See larger photo). Also show the? fields ShortDescription(Beskrivning), EndDate(Slutdatum), TimeLeft(Tid kvar), MaxBid(Pris), TotalBids(Antal bud).

Also a "Lägg bud"(Place bid) button and a "Bevaka"(Watch) button. But no functions for these buttons yet.

There should also be a back button to get back to the search result. At the top maybe?

All forms except the User Form can be used even if the user is not signed in.

And now the API.

The application will use API version 3. This is not released public yet but we will use it any way. It will say Version 2 at some places in the document but ignore that.

The function to use to search is GetSearchResultAdvanced or GetSearchResultAdvancedXML(soap).

You will also need a APPID and a service key.

If you get on 503 ERROR code this means that you have no more API calls. There are a limit. But this should not be a problem. You chould be plenty of calls.

And write? the user interface? in english when you have to. I change this later. And this is stil a mockup. The design is important. Also use cool iphone function when you can. :-) But the time is also important. I need this application as soon as possible. I can pay extra just to get it faster.
