"We are looking for a talented designer and programmer to create a portal for education in China. The website will be English-language and targetting parents and students who wish to attend snternational schools and universities in China. The site will also include details on current jobs in education in China. It will need to be extremely simple to use, very well-designed, visually simple but exceedingly beautiful. It will also need a very easy to use backend, considerable user interactivity and sophisticated search function that allows users to find schools according to their demands (such as cost, languages spoken and strength of certain departments. We have a detailed site map which includes a detailed description of each page and the content to be added."
And have been overwhelmed with responses. Because of this we would like to now give far more information about the site with more specific demands. Please read this carefully and respond only if you feel that you can fulfill the requirements. We are looking for both logo and website design:

We require:
Simple logo design (most likely just the name of the company)
Colour scheme, font selection and overall web design theme
Bug-free, user-friendly website with some fairly complex features
The website will require the following pages:
1. Homepage with interactive, simplified map of China
2. About us page
3. School finder that cross references user requests with information listed by schools (such as price, syllabus). There will be a list of twelve school features that schools will rank themselves. Users will select what they consider to be the most important and this, along with other features such as location, will then bring up a list of schools ranked according to the users requests.
4. City/Province level interactive-maps reachable through homepage.
5. Individual school pages that combine school-provided information, user comments, maps and photos
6. An blog that lists information about education in China
7. A jobs listing page
8. A resource for information about education in China
9. The ability to search the whole site and/or only specific parts
Please, please do not respond to this listing unless you have a combination of graphic design, web design and web programming skills that will allow you to produce a world-class website. We have a full site-map and considerable amounts of information that we can provide to the winning bid and we can guarantee that we will be extremely communicative and involved with the whole project from beginning to end.
