I'm looking for an individual addon for a free troubleticket software.
[url removed, login to view] - This supportcenter software is free of charge for a single user, you can easyly download and install it.
My addon should connect to eBay and import the messages in "my messages" therefor we need a section somewhere in the supportcenter software where the user can configure his ebay name and a ebay api token. A token is necesary that the software can download via a cronjob without asking for an ebay userpassword. as the software is already enabled to download from a pop3 server, the import from eBay "my messages" should work in a similar way.
Once downloaded the messages from eBay "my messages" the user should be able to organize these messages withing the support center software. as soon as he replies or answers to a message the system should connect to eBay again and transmit the reply.
Here is a typical approach for enabling a seller to respond to questions from bidders:
- A buyer uses the eBay Web site to ask the seller a question about the listed item.
- eBay stores the message, marking it as unanswered.
- This new addon should checks [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] for the ItemID.
- This new addon then should calls GetMemberMessage to retrieve the MessageIDs of any unanswered messages for the ItemID.
- If there are messages, your the addon retrieves the MessageID so it can respond to the buyer by posting a message to the website.
- last the addon should call AddMemberMessageRTQ, providing the option to the seller of whether to post the question and the seller's response for all to see, and whether to send a copy of the email to the seller's personal email address.
at the end this addon application should be "installable" as a addon to the qualityunit - supportcenter software and create required tables and entries in the main software application. I'm not so familiar with the ebay api, so the development company should tewak the concept that it is possible to integrate receiving and sending ebay "mymessages" into that supportticket system.
