Overview:

We have a Wordpress Woocommerce website with over a thousand products, which need their price, stock numbers and stock status updated several times a day.

Our stock update file is a URL, we need a CRON job which will download the file and update our database stock numbers, status and price (after a percentage calculation) for records that matching SKU’s.

Once the task is completed, we need a summary email sent.

Requirements:

.php file that:

Executes at specific times / intervals (** will vary)

Receives data in .csv format from a URL

Multiply the price field in the .csv file by a percentage (** will vary)

Makes updates to the wp-postmeta table, _regular_price, _stock_status and _stock values that match the records SKU

On completion and email is sent containing the number of records updated and the number of records from the URL with no matching SKU in the database

(** will vary), I will require reasonable in_code documentation to be able to alter the percentage and run times.
