Create an Advanced WordPress and TinyMCE Plugin

We need an experienced WordPress and TinyMCE plug-in developer to help us create an advanced WordPress plug-in which allows inserting buttons and pre-designed text blocks in WordPress via a TinyMCE Plug-in.
You also must establish a connection with our backend systems, to display product data within these text blocks.
Essentially you must create a plug-in for TinyMCE which adds eCommerce functions to WordPress by inserting Hyperlinks, code snippets and CSS buttons on a page.
The Plug in must also be able to talk to our API to retrieve product data such as price, name, SKU.
To qualify you must demonstrate considerable experience with TinyMCE and WordPress to create more complex plug-ins which are reliable and secure.
We also expect you to help us improve our concepts and to streamline our ideas so we can create the best possible user experience for the plug-in.
Right now we have a general concept and specification, including screenshots of the planned design.
However we expect these specifications to change based on your feedback about how to best reach a result within WordPress and TinyMCE.
We will provide you with more details about the project, once you have made it through the first round.
