Magento 2 - Layered navigation/Category page customization

1. Horizontal layered navigation menu

We would like to have :

- the layered navigation menu positioned horizontally using a category page layout of 1 column

- Filters of this menu (related to product attribute) will be shown as drop-down menus, price filter will be slider

- Only one option can be selected in each filter

- AJAX technology has to be used to speed up loading and showing results instantly.

The menu will be positioned below description block

2. Category attributes behavior

The category data (including title, description, image, and meta data) have to be updated according to selected filters option. The default data have to be replaced, for that purpose we would like to have on back-end the ability to configure all these informations.

We will input in back-end for each category filters selection the data to replace default one, if nothing is configured the default data will be shown.

For example we can select “option1” in “attribute1” and “options3” in “attribute2” (this is the attribute selection) and for this configuration we will put the data to be replaced (title, description, image, and meta). In frontEnd when customer select “option1” in “attribute1” and “options3” in “attribute2” the entered data will be shown instead of default one.

3. URL

By using one or more filters, the URL has to be adapted to options selected and to be SEO friendly. Presently the URL is as /[login to view URL], we require something like /category/[login to view URL] which is more friendly than previous one.

4. General behaviors

We are using a Magento extension allowing us to show for configurable product (which is the magento product type we use) child item data and generate a product custom URL as /product-green-xl, in other hand for each configurable product we configure a preselected options.

We would like to show in category page the product child item data (image, price, and URL) with preselected options, and when filters are used update these product data according to options chosen.
