I have attached a template that we use to make work order cover pages. Sheet 1 is a file dump that we get from our CMMS system. Sheet 2 is it filtered for desired grouping and Sheet 3 is the cover page. Currently we copy our new download into sheet 1 refresh sheet 2 and then have to copy the short text (1M-E CONDUCT BATTERY FLOAT VOLTAGE) AND PASTE INTO Sheet 3 PM description , then copy all the work orders from sheet 2 (that have the same first 10 digits eg. 1400 and 1300 would have to be grouped on a separate cover page) and paste into sheet 3 work order. Next the function location from sheet 2 is copied into sheet 3 work order description. Then we print the cover page, Don’t have to save. We have to do this for all groups in sheet 2 column B. This takes hours to print these all off and our download is going to keep growing. I am looking for a way to maybe do this without all the coping and pasting. Maybe check boxes or something. If you check a group in Column B and it will paste its work orders and function locations to the cover sheet. And a way of doing the 2 different function locations in the group. If you could let me know if this is possible and a price that would be great.
