We want to create professional-looking PDFs within Python (to be invoked from a Django-based website) that contain invoices for our customers.

These invoices should be based on good-looking templates (e.g. in Word, Excel, HTML, or anything else) with some static information (company name, contact details, logo, etc.) and some dynamic information that should be added on-the-fly (e.g. invoice ID, customer name, sold items, pricing, etc.).
