Disks/raid health monitoring agent

Develop an agent on golang (preferred) or python for Linux / Windows / MacOS that must be like collectD or similar tools, but specifically for storage subsystem. The agent must detect installed hardware (raid-controllers, disks) and if it is required install tools like smartctl, MegaCli, etc, gather metrics from these tools (S.M.A.R.T. and raid health status) and send to remote server.
This is an rough description of the whole project. Your tasks will include only the part that is described below.
Optionally participate in node.js API-server developing
Administrative tasks: setting up the environment, docker, CI, etc. (optionally)
Requirements:
- understanding disk subsystems and raid
- good golang/python skills
- optionally node.js and bash scripting skills
Working conditions:
- A number of questions will be asked
- hourly payment
- full employment
Full task will be sent additionally
